The cost of server investment and bandwidth can be cut largely by providing P2P video broadcast service which can substantially separate the flow pressures originally on the servers of providers. Additionally, it optimizes the service provider's network structure. Since the network of service provider is almost a tree structure, the bandwidth consumption becomes much larger when the structure approaches to the access layer. However, the P2P technology can reasonably utilizes the bandwidth of access network without aggregating all the stream flow to IDCs.
